Crystal Ballroom
Added in 1925, this elegant high-ceilinged room is distinguished by its classical architecture, beautiful hardwood flooring and rows of 12 glittering Crystal chandeliers. With two exterior walls, the ballroom’s many windows are framed by embroidered drapery and permit a wide range of natural and artificial lighting, perfect for any occasion, especially gala dinners and weddings. Seating for up to 200 guests.
Barrister’s Lounge
With tall windows looking down onto the corner of King and Queen streets, Barrister’s is a distinctive room with a formal bar and ornamental fireplace. It is perfect for smaller gatherings and is a unique setting for rehearsal dinners and wedding showers. Seating for up to 20 guests for dinner or 50 for cocktails.
Queen Elizabeth Suite
A large spacious room with eight windows on its long wall. The Queen Elizabeth Suite’s multi-purpose lighting is adaptable to the needs of a variety of functions from casual luncheons to formal receptions. Seating for up to 64 guests,
Oak Room
A particularly charming room with coffered oak paneling, five tall windows and a centerpiece fireplace. The Oak Room is a popular choice for family gatherings, intimate weddings, rehearsals, or an ideal setting for post-wedding brunch. Seating for up to 40 guests.
Lafontaine Room
Actually two rooms, the main event space and a smaller anteroom which gives onto the main room and dance floor through three sets of French doors. Newly renovated in 2011, the Lafontaine Room is the most private of the event spaces with ensuite bathrooms and separate service area. Ideal for mid-sized receptions and parties, the Lafontaine features seating for up to 70 guests.
Walper Gallery
Just off the Ballroom Lobby, the Walper Gallery is a medium-size, interior gallery. Private and quiet, the Gallery is perfect for smaller receptions or as an intimate dining room. Seating for up to 40 guests.
Eleanor Roosevelt Courtyard
Once enjoyed by the famous first lady, The Eleanor Roosevelt Courtyard is a unique outdoor space ideal for intimate gatherings in the Spring, Summer or early Fall. Perfect for cocktails or bridal party breakfast. Seating for up to 20 guests.
For that perfect wedding photo—the Eleanor Roosevelt Courtyard is a perfect place for wedding party photos on your special day. Featuring beautiful wrought iron furniture in an enclosed outdoor space, images captured in the courtyard are the perfect balance of timeless and unique. Available at no charge for all Walper Brides, the Courtyard can also be used for photographs for a nominal fee for off-site weddings.
