MEETING SPACE

Walper Hotel is the perfect location to hold your conferences and meetings. Our meeting rooms and lobbies are very conducive to an easy flow of participants. We feature three private boardrooms in addition to the Crystal Ballroom, Baroque Room, Oak Room, LaFontaine Room and the Barrister's Lounge, which serve as multi-service meeting spaces.

Our large lobby areas provide the ideal space for coffee breaks, luncheons and break-out meetings. The main meeting room holds up to 200 guests in a round table set-up.

We are able to provide all the essentials to make your meeting/conference a success. Equipment available includes:

  • Slide projectors and screens
  • Overhead projectors and screens
  • Television/VCR/DVD Player
  • Microphone and PA System

CRYSTAL BALLROOM

  • An elegant high-ceilinged room distinguished by its classical architecture, beautiful hardwood flooring and rows of glittering chandeliers. With two exterior walls, the ballroom's many windows are framed by superbly embroidered drapery, permitting a wide range of natural and artificial lighting perfect for any occasion from meetings to a gala dinner or wedding
  • Seats up to 200 (3000 sq. ft)
   

 

Book the Crystal Ballroom for your wedding venue and receive a complimentary honeymoon package featuring:
  • Overnight accommodations in a guest suite
  • Breakfast basket for two delivered to your room
 

BARRISTERS LOUNGE

  • With tall windows looking down on the corner of King and Queen streets, Barristers' is a distinctive room with a formal bar and a faux fireplace. It is perfect for small convivial gatherings and also offers a unique setting for boardroom style meetings.
   

 

Across a common lobby from the Oak Room and down a short hallway from the Baroque Room, the Barristers' is not just the nicest private bar in the city, but a pleasant break-out room for larger meetings

  • Seats up to 40 (740 sq. ft.)
 

BAROQUE ROOM

  • A large meeting room with eight windows on its long wall. The Baroque's multi-purpose lighting is adaptable to the needs of varied functions from seminars to formal banquets.
   

 

  • Seats up to 55 (1050 sq. ft.)

 

 

OAK ROOM (Original to the building)

  • A particularly charming room with coffered oak paneling, five tall windows and a centerpiece fireplace. The Oak Room is much in demand for smaller seminars and private functions
   

 

  • Seats up to 48 (650 sq. ft.)

 

 

LAFONTAINE ROOM

  • Actually two rooms, the main meeting or event space and smaller room which gives onto the main room through three sets of French doors. The smaller room increases the versatility of the larger by providing serving space for functions or break-out space for meetings.
   

 

The larger room lends itself to receptions and parties by having a dance floor.

  • Seats up to 100 (1100 sq. ft.)
 

WALPER GALLERY

  • Just off the Ballroom Lobby, the Walper Gallery is a medium-size meeting space
  • Seats up to 64 (740 sq. ft.)
   

BOARDROOMS

  • Three private boardrooms, located on our guest room floors, offer convenient meeting and interview areas for smaller groups.
  • Seats up to 15 people (340 sq. ft.)
 

ALL MEETING ROOMS ARE EQUIPPED WITH:
